Information Sciences and Systems (ISS)







Research in the area of Information Sciences and Systems (ISS) centers around the sensing, communication, and processing of various forms of information. Due to the enormous flexibility of electromagnetic energy, almost all information captured in the physical world today is through electromagnetic, electro-optical, bio-electrical, electro-chemical, or electro-mechanical transducers. Hence, one of the distinguishing features of this research is the use of mathematical models tied to the physics of the phenomena underlying the generation, sensing, communication, and processing of information, whether electromagnetic, biological, chemical, or mechanical. Information, however, may also arise from more abstract phenomena such as patterns of anomalous behavior in surveillance videos, internet traffic, stock market data, geographic disease dynamics, and social interactions. Because the information is complex, high-dimensional, and accompanied by noise and uncertainty, stochastic models play a fundamental role in this research.

  1. It seems that all compartmentalized bits and bytes of knowledge are coming together at the MIT Boston respectable research center. Many years after the total compartmentalization of the scientific research (often known as positivism, and pure pragmatism) one can finally see the shift towards the interdisciplinary cheer works and the new paradigm shift. The question is : what does this move exactly mean? It seems that all kinds of surveillance research employ all aspects of our life and lead, as suggested by MIT, to the “indeterministic” data collection for some higher purposes—note, this is already the oxymoron. I found an ear-catching word catchy as the base of all their research –the stochastic model, the research based on random variables data collections, where all subject research matters are simulations/projections, and therefore, all data collection cohere within the modeling system of values that are derived from the domination of economic, social, cultural, and political institutions. It seems that the modeling system represents the idea of benefiting all aspects of the personhood and society, but, in fact, it is employed by the modern driven statistical theory that subordinates findings of the jewel mathematical probability theory to the social engineering! Are the money driven projects presented as humanitarian and, at the same time, based on various aspects of achieving the mind and body control really indeterministic? If you just research members of CODES, Control of Discrete Systems, they state: “conduct research on modeling, design, analysis, performance evaluation, control, and optimization of a variety of discrete event and hybrid systems”—whatever this means, but it translates in reality as well funded projects to benefit social engineering trends backed up by the odds of probability theory that fit to the man-made desirable projections of the life-style, social conduct, and the idea of the mental and physical health. Let indeterministic be true and free, not enclosed in the coherence theory and the genetic algorithm plot. What has the author wanted to say? Larger and larger surveillance ability has become a profitable business and this business affects mainstream research in such a way to impose all kinds of larger and larger social engineering mechanisms of control. Not yet totalitarianism (socialism, communism, or fascism), not any longer representative democracy that defends all aspects of freedom, but some sort of technocracy that lives on the split edge of the two crossroads.

  2. I believe it’s all about control! An executive order from the world elite! Using the “know how” to play God for their own economical benefit – while they are mastering many other people’s life in the opposite direction.

    If people would try to understand the “fancy” arsenal of terminology; modeling, design, architecture, simulation, stimulation, human-computer-interaction, brain-computer-interaction, performance evaluation, variables, socio-economic engineering, psycho-social engineering, acoustic psycho correction, etc … maybe, the world could change for better, not for worse …

    One of the many evidences circulating on internet about how evil the users of the “know how” technologies really can be.


    “The term “Mind control” basically means covert attempts to influence the thoughts and behavior of human beings against their will (or without their knowledge), particularly when surveillance of an individual is used as an integral part of such influencing and the term “Psychotronic Torture” comes from psycho (of psychological) and electronic. This is actually a very sophisticated form of remote technological torture that slowly invalidates and incapacitates a person. These invisible and non-traceable technological assaults on human beings are done in order to destroy someone psychologically and physiologically.

    Actually, as par scientific resources, the human body, much like a computer, contains myriad data processors. They include, but are not limited to, the chemical-electrical activity of the brain, heart, and peripheral nervous system, the signals sent from the cortex region of the brain to other parts of our body, the tiny hair cells in the inner ear that process auditory signals, and the light-sensitive retina and cornea of the eye that process visual activity. We are on the threshold of an era in which these data processors of the human body may be manipulated or debilitated. Examples of unplanned attacks on the body’s data-processing capability are well-documented.

    An entirely new arsenal of weapons, based on devices designed to introduce subliminal messages or to alter the body’s psychological and data-processing capabilities, might be used to incapacitate individuals. These weapons aim to control or alter the psyche, or to attack the various sensory and data-processing systems of the human organism. In both cases, the goal is to confuse or destroy the signals that normally keep the body in equilibrium.”
